Love to be a Mother

Love to be a Mother
Author: Unknown

I Love To Be a Mother
Some houses try to hide the fact that children shelter there.
Ours boasts of it quite openly, the signs are everywhere.
For smears are on the windows, little smudges on the doors,
I should apologize, I guess, for toys strewn on the floor.
But I sat down with the children and we played and laughed and read;
And if the doorbell doesn't shine, their eyes will shine instead.
For when at times I'm forced to choose the one job or the other;
I like to be a housewife but I love to be a mother.

Wishing all the mothers and soon-to-be-mothers simple joys and peaceful moments this Mother's Day and always!

To my dearest Mommy Yolly, I wish you only the best this Mother's Day.
This goes to my mother-in-law as well, Nanay Lalia.

I had a blast shooting 4-5 yr old kids two days ago.
Indeed it was a challenging photoshoot but very fun.

As you all know my Ate E is in spring soccer season this year. Up until this past few weeks, it never dawn on me that in this event they will have their team pictures taken. One mother approach me if i can do it for them instead of a professional photographer [well, i've brought my camera few times during the games, maybe that's why they asked me... i think], i said sure. That's were it all started.

I am honored and excited i'll have the opportunity to experience shooting such big group.
Funny part, few days before the photoshoot i got really nervous wondering if i can provide the team [especially the parents] the right services needed in this instance. Of course, here's me scrambling around and researching in the wee hours hoping to get more information and gain enough knowledge so i can portray my role well as a photographer.

I am relieved it's done and being optimistic they will like the shots *queasy*.

Special thanks especially to hub who's been assisting me all the way [just imagine about "16" 4-5yrs old running/playing around], aileen [one of the soccer mom] who helped me babysit Baby E in the field while i was busy doing the shoot and other moms and dads who take turns as well, to the team coaches and assistant for organizing the team well, and last but not the least my Jaguar players and models for trying their best to be patient and natural in front of the camera --- I am so proud of you *group hug*.
