A Stunning and Sparkling Discovery

“Consider the quality of life.
A single person might want a more cosmopolitan area with an exciting nightlife.
For someone married with children, the cost of living and the best education for their children become more important...
That will become part of your life.”

Gigi Gao

We moved out here to change the bustling/festive/dazzling world of Vegas to a more family oriented community. After over a month, we terribly missed the usual kind of living we were in for a decade --- dining out every other night {fine dining almost every weekend}, discovering new pristine AAA+ hotels and resorts, and more partying actions/entertainment until dawn...

We thought we were totally out of the channel there for a second... that longing was cut short after discovering downtown San Diego. It may not completely compare to the bright and luxurious Vegas, but this was enough for us to feel we still belong in our era.

We end up playing outside for awhile with the girls despite the chilly and nippy air {there is a small area parklike in front of this scenery}. I guess that's why the girls got the drippy nose and annoying cough the next day {until now} *sad*.

After the girls, hub, and I were ready for bed, hub blurted out "we're going to do this next weekend"... I said maybe in couple of weeks *smiling*.

We ended the day very delighted of our new found discovery... if we yearn for vegas lights and glitz , we can comeback anytime {just 30-35mins out} --- Yipeee!!!

Hi Cinds! I am sooo WOWed! These are some of the most stunning night shots I have ever seen! I especially love the second photo--what a great capture! I also love how the lights from the passing boat left its trail on the first photo! I love them all! Simply phenomenal!!!

@ Mai-Mai --- thanks

@ Liza --- salamat Liz, same here 2nd photo is my fave. As for the 3rd photo I didn't use tripod Kay tapulan na mag open (used pillow patong sa table, lol).

@ Jopie --- I got my tamron a year ago sa ako-ang bday (that's the glass I ordered along with the upgraded body of 50D). I am crossing my finger for my bday this year to get the EF 50mm/1.4 ... Hehehe (padungog-dungog sa bana).
